The TLTR in conjunction with Learning Resources is pleased to announce the Bucks Global Video Mash-Up Contest!

The goals of this contest, intended for BCCC students, are to:
Promote creativity and social consciousness through a video project.
Develop a multimedia skill set and knowledge base among students, faculty and staff.
Raise awareness of the 21st skills that students need.
Create awareness of multimedia projects as vehicle for learning.
Create a rubric for assessing video projects.
Create awareness of alternative assignments for faculty to assess student ability and knowledge.
First, second and third prizes will be awarded for the winning entries. A panel of faculty and staff will be evaulating the videos based on a criteria that will include:

Creative and innovative use of existing content for a derivative work.
Ability to engage a variety of audiences regarding a global issue.
Ability to effectively convey the purpose of the proposed theme through the use a digital medium.
Entries are due in the Learning Resources Department no later than May 1, 2009 at 4:00 PM
