BLUE DESIGN

Blue Design is a full service post-production, audio, and design studio in Philadelphia. With a focus on live action, editorial, audio, and motion graphics, Blue Design has created work for several nationally recognized companies (some of whom call Philadelphia home), including SpikeTV, Hershey Park, Comcast, AIG, Motorola, and Anthropologie. In addition to their commercial work, Blue Design has engaged with both local and global organizations to create an impressive body of work that includes short films, audio, and video montages that can be seen the world over.

TWO PAPERDOLLS

Located on the Main Line, Two Paperdolls is a custom design studio, specializing in unique social and corporate design, with a specialty in letterpress printing. Founded in 2000, Two Paperdolls has grown from a custom invitation business, to full-fledged design studio offering identity systems, promotional pieces, brochures, and much more—all reflecting their signature design style and letterpress production. In 2006, Two Paperdolls expanded their business and founded Louella Press—a retail collection of exclusive invitations and note cards available in boutiques and paperies nationwide. Most recently, Two Paperdolls opened Pressed 55, a full-service commercial letterpress and design shop located in suburban Philadelphia.

DesignPhiladelphia: October 07 – 13, 2009

Moving into its fifth year, DesignPhiladelphia is the largest national celebration of its kind. This city-wide cultural event spotlights all things design from architecture to interior design, fashion to product design, textile to graphic design. It's a journey exploring exhibitions, workshops, studio tours, lectures, special events and product roll-outs that inspire, engage, excite and delight.
